Elspeth is a strong believer that clear communication releases potential. She has proficient language skills in French, Italian and German. Most recently, Elspeth helped found a successful local bookshop, which has led to her close involvement in local business issues.

Elspeth’s background is as both a linguist and in the field of education. A notable achievement was the successful introduction of a new language into the local schools’ curriculum. This involved designing and writing most of the core course materials. Subsequent writing for an educational journal included a study entitled ‘Motivation brings about success in Language Learning.’ She has continued to work in adult education, training and individual tutoring.

In the UK, Elspeth has worked for iOpener facilitating courses in Business Writing, Presentation Skills, Feedback and Media Training, both at London Business School and at the Said Business School in Oxford. More recently, she has also worked with an international law firm in Europe delivering courses on Communicating with Impact. Her background and experience in languages and business development together combine to bring insight and clarity into the exciting world of communication.
