Simon’s aim is to help build long-term relationships which will move your business forward.

Business communications must always respect the facts. But naked facts are never enough. People relate to stories, a sense of purpose, a sense of direction and to what their company stands for. With more than two decades’ experience as a professional communicator Simon has helped blue-chip companies and individuals to improve their business environment, by skilfully translating the facts into stories that stakeholders relate to as people. The industries he has worked with include transport, retail, energy, financial services and telecoms. His audiences range from governments and industry regulators all the way through to customers, employees, pressure groups and the media.

During eight years as a technology journalist he learned how to see and recount the big picture, chronicling how IT and telecoms would revolutionise the world of work. Fifteen years’ subsequent commercial experience with both large and small companies, most recently at the heart of the broadband revolution within BT, have taken him deep into organisational culture, marketing, and business process management.

Adaptable at all levels of blue-chip organisations; Simon is equally sure-footed either in the boardroom or with the people delivering direct service to customers via the call centre, the checkout and the delivery van. Whether advising at boards on emerging issues, creating keynote speeches and presentations, or coaching teams and individuals, Simon orchestrates the creation and presention of narratives that win over the people on whose decisions your business depends.
